MELANATED THEN, NOW & TOMORROW (MTNT)
Melanated Then, Now & Tomorrow (MTNT) is the heart of Alkebulan’s Abode’s community expression and learning. Held every two months both virtually and in person, MTNT brings together seekers, teachers, artists, and cultural custodians in themed gatherings that celebrate African spirituality, heritage, and collective visioning. Through art, music, dialogue, and ancestral wisdom, each event becomes a sacred circle where we reflect on our past, engage our present, and co-create a liberated future. Whether you’re newly awakening or deeply rooted in your journey, MTNT offers a vibrant space for connection, growth, and purpose.

The silence between the swaying pegs holds her name, not whispered, but worn into the fibers of time.

"She does not need to be shown working
for her labor to be known.
ECHOES ON THE LINE
The frame remembers.
In the sway of wooden pegs, a pendulum of persistence.

the rhythm of survival dressed in ordinary acts,
the quiet rebellion of care in a world that forgets
refusing to be still,
refusing to be erased."
